I'm back from Sakura Con in Seattle! Everyone there was so amazing and supportive, I had a wonderful time thanks to you guys! I finally got to meet
and I just had to buy a book from her. Her works are amazing...! I don't want to say how talented she is because that wouldn't be fair to her since talent only brings you so far, it's the hard work the artists put into their art that makes them great. I hope one day I'll have the same kind of motivation as her and be able to produce something so breath taking.
And to everyone that came by my table, whether you purchased something or just complimented my art, I thank you. I will work hard to bring you more new and exciting things next year! (fingers crossed that I will be able to get a table again next year haha)
Now below will just be some totally unrelated subjects regarding my time in Seattle.
I don't drive in the city often (almost never) and I made the grave mistake of trusting my phone to guide me through the city. Apparently google maps had no idea where I was while I'm on a bridge, it started to instruct me to turn to every direction. I kept on getting onto 5 north instead of south and I ended up driving in some very secluded area with a bunch of train tracks under the bridges. Basically I was totally lost lol. Out of the three days I had to drive to the Con and back to the hotel, only the last day I didn't get lost and I got on 5 south in one try because I stopped listening to my phone's instructions haha. Next time I travel in city again I'll make sure I study the maps and have an idea where I'm going before hand ;o
